My Entrepreneurship Story

The Start of Things

So how did me wanting to become anything close to an "entrepreneur" come into light? It honestly didn't even start withe the normal childhood aspirations of wanting to be an astronaut or simply wanting money. For me entrepreneurship started with wanting a means to access something most calm suburban young adults would turn their noses up in disgust at: adrenaline.
When i say adrenaline I don't mean sneaking out at night to go to parties or going on rides at a place like universal. I chase the smell of high octane fuel and burning rubber as if i were addicted to it. Thanks to my family though I'd say I'm pretty close to being so.
Now when I was young that drive for me began after seeing my grandfather's car have its last go at a drag strip in Bradenton. It was the first time I'd ever seen this car outside of my grandfather picking me up from school in it and the only thing I ever knew about it was that the air conditioning didn't run with the engine off (you can imagine how mad my elementary school teachers were about that).

Now this was exactly what that car looked like and was. For a Monte Carlo SS in the late 2000's, it looked no different than an awkward coupe like most other cars of its day. And I thought so to until the day I was my then "school taxi" almost fly. Now yes I know now that it was probably just as slow as anything else out there at the time, but that was just enough for eight-year old me to fall in love with over two tons of metal and moving parts.

Back to the Now

Flash forward to today and I've borderline become obsessed with a simple mode of transportation. This brings me to why I'm taking ENT3003. I'm taking it because I hate the fact that everyone out there won't take me seriously enough to listen to exactly how much I know about what we sit in during those awful traffic jams. I'm also taking it through the Innovation Academy, in order to help me refine my own sense of being able to improve upon whats already in place. And if you want to know why I'm even at UF in the first place, well lets just say I'm "proving myself" in order to get back to what I love. From what my family tells me, she gets lonely in my grandparents' garage.
