The Boring Stuff
So here are the things about me that aren't really the most interesting things in the world. I'm from the middle-of-nowhere town of Plant City, Florida. The big things this 'city' is known for are the annual Strawberry Festival and the unnecessarily large amount of trucks on cheap lift kits. Honestly, I spent more time across the county in downtown Tampa and the Ybor districts than I did where I actually lived.
Now I've managed to move to Gainesville, Florida in order to get a bachelor's in business management through the Innovation Academy at the University of Florida. The main reason I moved was of course to just end up 'somewhere'. At the times though, I didn't know that my then minor interest would play out to become such a large part of my life. That will get explained in due time.
The Fun Stuff (well I think it is)
The only good thing about the time that I still lived in Plant City was what I was doing. I was somewhat into playing guitar at the time and was fairly good at it too. In fact, I had managed to weasel my way into being the president of my high school's guitar club; just ignore the fact that the club didn't actually do anything.
The really good part about back then, was the camaro I had that I showed in my last post, and will show again. No it wasn't a v8 ls motor or any of the luxury trims. It was a bone stock v6 that had no luxury options what-so-ever, but she was (and still is) gorgeous.
Now I spend a good chuck of the time that I'm not studying or working at meets and events within the state. Of course there's always that one person who ruins the meet or the guy who trash talks at the track, but its all good fun. I wouldn't trade it for anything and I'm glad that moving up to Gainesville really sparked the passion for me. If not I'd probably still be chasing the impossible dream of being a guitarist off somewhere by trying to be around people I genuinely disliked. So in short, I'm absolutely stoked about being here.
